Some highlights from my ridiculously excessive browsing that may interest you:
1. New Year App Blowout [via Touch Arcade]
iPhone apps on sale include Word Squares, Imangi, Mouse House and the Trivia apps.
2. Whirlpool Internet Survey
Good idea to take part in Whirlpool’s Broadband survey – last year there were more than 18,000 responses.
3. While Wall Street went “meh” over the Let’s Rock keynote, Steve Jobs stealthily showed us the next version of his presentation software, Keynote – Les Posen’s Presentation Magic
Revisiting a very detailed and informative article. Further confirmation of an updated offline Keynote.
4. Blue Screen of Death Strikes Bird’s Nest During Opening Ceremonies Torch Lighting
One of Gizmodo’s most viewed articles of 2008.
5. Viacom on Time Warner Cable – YouTube [via Cult of Mac]
Even though it’s all over, I was particularly impressed with this aggressive marketing strategy, especially on short notice. Time Warner customers, fear not – The Daily Show isn’t going anywhere.
