A few days ago, Digg launched it’s latest ‘service’: the DiggBar. While I could go on a rant about it’s downright stupidity, someone else did a much better job of it, so go and read it.
Of course, it would be difficult for a site such as ours to redirect to a similar message to that of John’s, because WordPress.com doesn’t allow it. So, the best we could do is remove our Digg ‘share’ link, found at the bottom of our more popular posts (starting from now). Obviously we won’t make much of a difference (and more established sites such as Daring Fireball and Engadget will), but hopefully over time (and as a collective), Digg will get the idea. – r.
